Since a long time, I was searching for a free and complete text editor to install on all my machines. I think this one will become my new friend !

The famous one that would resolve my problems is probably Notepad++. 

The interesting features are (for me) the following ones :

• XML editing (to collapse nodes and include syntax coloration…)
• "All" programming language coloration
• Having a hexacidemal view of the content (hex edition)
• Evaluate or change text encoding
• Advanced search and replace features (a lot of options…with "light" regular expression possibilities)
• Extensible through plugins
• Multi document management
• And ultimate pleasure : creating macros for critical situations 

 Thanks notepad++ to exists and to be really FREE !!

Maybe the "compare two documents" feature is currently missing ? I will search…

Obviously, my second friend is Paint.NET for image editing…also thanks to him.

My phone use Orange network and I tried to active Black Berry option and using the Black Berry client application for windows mobile.
Firstly, IT WORKS and very well !
So, now I can receive my emails directly from my PDA.

I noticed a few problem :
- The battery usage increase
- The attached  files are filtered : for instance, the powerpoint files are transformed in text files and video are blocked…

If you want to enable voice command from a bluetooth headset, check that the registry is ok. 

Use a registry editor like "PHM Registry Editor" .

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand and check the following parameters :

• LaunchAPEnable=1
• VoiceCmdEnable=1
• Path=\Program Files\Voice Command\voicecmd.exe (or another path if you have installed it to a memory card)

With Microsoft Voice Command 1.5, it should works.
